Basically, Pisa is known around the world for a failed architectural feat. The Leaning Tower may be one of the world’s most famous towers, but it remains a failure.
That being said; it does attract vast numbers of tourists each year—including myself. The Leaning Tower of Pisa is simply a sight that you must have seen once in your life. But, honestly, no more. There is absolutely no need to see it twice.
Pisa, a large city in Tuscany , is also home to a couple of other architectural landmarks, all conveniently located on Piazza dei Miracoli in the city center. Those are the Cathedral of Pisa and the enormous Baptistery . I have already written a blog post about my visit to Pisa , so I won’t elaborate on any details here.

Although Florence should be no means be skipped, Pisa is another city that you are encouraged to visit. All landmarks all located right next to one another and make visiting Pisa possible in just one afternoon—a perfect day trip in other words.
