This is pretty cool. A guy takes a shipping container and turns it into an underground shelter. A *nice* underground shelter.
Dig a hole, add some gravel, get a septic tank company to put your container into the hole, place a sump pump to keep ground water out of the gravel, pour some concrete steps, do some grading, add some supportive structure & framework, pour a bunch of reinforced concrete, lay some blocks, cover with a bunch of soil, stock it with supplies, and enjoy.
If you want, you can build a little shed over the entrance to shelter and conceal it. Just use the block walls as stem walls for the shed.

The process seems fairly simple from what you have described here. Building a little shed over the entrance is certainly a good idea. I think some people would prefer that friends, neighbours and passers-by are not made aware that a bunker is constructed there. A shed would certainly help a lot in that regard. It would also provide additional storage.
